There are only 2 modules left for the 9th Edition of the Clinical Residency in Implantology and Oral Rehabilitation to finish and the feedback from the students couldn't be better!
Taking a brief stock of the course to date, we find that:
• Theoretical componentIt is based on current scientific evidence and the teachers are concerned with transmitting international guidelines on what is best in the area of Implantology and Oral Rehabilitation;
• The Theoretical and Practical component (Hands-On): in the animal model, allows training in the techniques of the various clinical procedures, such as the practice of incisions, detachments, sutures, implant placement and guided bone regeneration. Additionally, in this aspect they have had the opportunity to get to know the implants and biomaterials used in the clinical component;
• The Clinical Practice in Patients component: has been intensive, with students having the opportunity to place a total of 169 implants! In addition, and in order for the treatments to be a success, students have the close support of teachers who allow them to increase the learning curve.
The feedback from the Scientific and Pedagogical Coordinators has been equally positive!
In the words of Prof. Hélder Oliveira: "The Clinical Residency in Implantology and Oral Rehabilitation is based primarily on the most current scientific evidence with a strong clinical component." And the Prof. Paulo Ribeiro he further adds that: "This course at a national level is very sought after due to the fact that it is already a reference. Additionally, we approach from A-Z everything that there is at the level of implantology, that is, both the surgical part and the prosthetic part, always taking into account the most recent themes of implantology from the conventional part to the digital part. Through this course, we intend that the students leave it and are able to put all the acquired knowledge into practice".
This will be followed by the Oral Rehabilitation modules where students will have the opportunity to shape the implants already placed in a conventional and digital way using intraoral scanners. All the implants placed will be rehabilitated during the course.
Don't miss the last chance to join the more than 80 certified students in the field of Implantology and Oral Rehabilitation!
